Welcome Attorney Diana McDougle
Campbell Phillips PC is pleased to announce the addition of attorney Diana McDougle. After graduating cum laude from Seattle University, Diana was a law clerk for the esteemed Portland law firm Sussman Shank LLP where she was promoted to associate attorney. Diana ultimately decided to establish her practice in the community she loves, the Columbia River Gorge. Diana’s practice concentrates on immigration, municipal law, business law, land use and estate planning.
In 2016, the Oregon non-profit, Immigration Counseling Service, established a satellite office in Hood River, Oregon. Diana volunteered more than 800 hours of legal services to local community members seeking assistance with obtaining U.S. Citizenship and relief under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. As the result of her service, Diana was the recipient of the Oregon State Bar’s Pro Bono Challenge Award for the New Lawyer Division, which Oregon Supreme Court Chief Justice Balmer presented to Diana at an Oregon State Bar awards ceremony in 2017.
Diana is a member of the Oregon State Bar’s Real Estate and Land Use Section and Estate Planning and Administration Section. In 2016, Diana assisted another local attorney in establishing the Columbia River Gorge Chapter of Oregon Women Lawyers and continues to serve on the Chapter’s Board as Treasurer. Diana is also the President of the Mid-Columbia Bar Association, which is actively engaged in the organization and promotion of events that benefit our local Gorge communities.
Diana lives in the Columbia River Gorge with her husband Sean and black Labrador Retriever, Johnny Cash. She enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends and is a frequent participant in long distance running races throughout the region. .
